Data for Humanity

This is an unprecedented moment for humankind. The world is faced with a viral pandemic of enormous proportions. As the saying goes, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. And that exactly sums up LOTaDATA's approach to our global crisis.

We consider it our civic duty to provide our government leaders, medical experts, researchers, and epidemiologists with the best possible data to help them make the most timely decisions to battle COVID-19. To that end, LOTaDATA has launched the Data for Humanity initiative.

Data for Humanity

LOTaDATA pledges, to the best of our ability and our limited resources, to offer the CityDash.ai platform to government agencies, non-profits, researchers, and academic institutions, with:

  • Free consulting services until the pandemic is contained
  • Free data insights about anonymized people movement at the month scale
  • However, we will need assistance to cover our baseline cloud costs for data analysis and ML compute

COVID-19 is a community spread pandemic. Social distancing, sheltering in place, and self-quarantining are critical to contain the spread of the pathogen and flatten the transmission curve. Our data insights about the anonymized movement patterns of people can provide essential inputs for governments to measure the effectiveness of their lockdown or stay-at-home policies.

At LOTaDATA, we collect, analyze, and produce weekly and daily anonymized data sets for 1450 cities on a global scale to infer aggregated people-presence, activity, and movement across 60 countries, including US, Canada, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Taiwan.

Please reach out to your local, regional and national government leaders to let them know about CityDash.ai and spread the word about our Data for Humanity initiative. Help us save lives.

Stay safe. Be well.
